UNIVERSAL STUDIO, SINGAPORE
As i stepped into USS, i saw this gigantic USS globe spinning 360
degree and of course, it's the first thing to captured on my camera
lenses!! The weather was brutally hot, you might wanna minimize your
face with make up if you planning to come here. and a bottle of mineral
won't harm. since it is located on sentosa island, what can you expect,
right? hot, hot heat and no easy breezy wind.

HOLLYWOOD
As i walked through, the first attraction comes HOLLYWOOD.
I can't believe I'm in Hollywood!! oh trust me, it does looks like
you're dancing at the edge of the Hollywood sign. it is real, it's
like you're really living in a Hollywood life. You gonna see the
'Walk of Fame', street entertainments everywhere, and if you
lucky enough, you'll bump into Marilyn Monroe. one thing i regret,
the fact that i didn't get the chance to stop by at the Celebrity Cafe
& Bakery as seen at the picture on top and i don't get to chance to
enter 'The Dark Room' to take fun photographs. Its basically like a
world of photography and cameras. And oh, if you are here, don't
forget to stop by at the 'Silver Screen Collectible' shop, that's where i
picked up an Oscar trophy for the 'Best Singer in the World'. Oh well,
when i was a little, all i dream is to become Celine Dion, so why not
pick one 'self-proclaimed' trophy that best suits my personality. Lalala :p
NEW YORK
And then i entered NEW YORK after Hollywood. To me, it doesn't look
like the 'New York' city that i was imagining. Perhaps because it was
built with the classic landmarks. But still, it feels like i walked thru the
sidewalk of NYC- one of my favorite city in the world. I should blame
Gossip Girl over my obsession on NYC!! Btw, you must and yes it is a
must for you to check out the 'Lights Camera Action Hosted by Steven
Spielberg'. I really love this one and this is one of my favorite attractions
in USS and i can watch this over and over again.I tell you what, i wanna
marry him. When you walked thru his studio and watch the effects, one
thing comes to your mind- that he's a real genius, a movie-maker Goddess!
And you're gonna think, every actions shot on the movie looks real, everything
is made-believe and you know it's just a trick of special effects but it is so
incredible, believe me you're gonna be so impressed and amazed by it.
SCI- FI CITY
OK, i should probably let the boys talk about this one. Of course when
you enter the "SCI-FI CITY" what you'll see are robots, science fictions,
futuristic and everything what not. And of course its kind of turned me off
but one thing you cannot skip is the "Battlestar Galactica HUMAN VS
CYLON" rides that i'm standing at the front of it, in the picture above. One
hell of a roller-coaster ride! As crazy as death, you might give yourself a
silent treatment after you finish off the rides, praying that "I'm so blessed
I'm still alive". haha. did i scared you enough? but seriously it was scared
to death. it's either you try once for the rest of your life and that was it....
or you gonna try it again and again. as for me, i might want to think twice
to get into that deadliest roller-coaster ride again. and soon on december,
they will open the 'TRANSFORMER THE RIDE: The Ultimate 3D Battle'.
i'm not so sure whats that about, perhaps amazing ride like the one in
Egypt Land or what, i don't really know. i heard Michael Bay is coming
to Singapore to launch on the thing, thou.. Not so sure about that one.
ANCIENT EGYPT
Welcome to Sunway Pyramid! Haha. Ok, no this is better than Sunway
Pyramid. I was lucky to be the first to take photos with Brendan Fraser!!
Really? Is that him? OK, its not quite him. This guy is slightly younger
and less looking like a tarzan, but wow this guy is seriously tall. i know
that i am short but he is really really tall and that makes me look like
midget standing next to him. ppppfttttt. and he is so damn nice, he even
pat me on my back, like seriously. he' d probably thinks i'm still in my
junior high. haha, whatever right. but i love him anyway. At this attraction
area, the best thing you cannot missed is the ride of 'Revenge of The
Mummy'. It is uber awesome, waaayyy better than the 'Battlestar Galactica'
rides. You gonna get into the ride where you feels like you're almost flying,
feels like you're not stepping into the ground. the ride with special effect
is so dark as if you're trapped into the other side of the world.it is total
darkness inside the Mummy ride and it was 100% exciting!
THE LOST WORLD
I hate this attraction. There is nothing about dinosaur or jungle that i like.
i don't know.. maybe because i don't get the chance to try anything at all
at this area or probably i was becoming so out of mood because of the
hot temperature so there's nothing that i can update about this area but
if you wish to get wet, you shall bring spare clothes as you can step into
the "Water World" attraction. And all the restaurant in this area are not
halal. just thought you should know. and they do sell water bottle with
the dinosaur head on the cap... that was interesting.

FAR FAR AWAY
So i went to the fairytale land, as i wished when i was a kid. And here i
was. There's a 'Donkey LIVE' show which i missed out to see, and a special
'Shrek 4D Adventure' which is soo cool. Its like watching 3D movies, but it's
in 4D and the seats are actually moving. There's one part in the movie where
the donkey sneezed, and i can actually felt the water sprayed on my face. And
there's a part where the spiders are crawling on the screen and at the same
time there are something crawling into your legs. It's hilarious and exciting!
There are bumps and bounce, kicking, crawling.. you cannot missed that
one if you visit USS. There's actually lots of other interesting shows and stuff
as well to check out in a FAR FAR AWAY, i just named a few. And while
you're here, you should pick up some souvenir at the 'Fairy's Godmother
Portion Shop' because there are lots of interesting stuffs and gifts to bring
back home. That's where i bought USS Polo shirt and a few of Shrek's
exclusive merchandises. Here also u can find a halal restaurant like the
KFC known as 'Goldilocks Restaurant' to feed your hungry appetite.
Unfortunately i missed out on the journey of one last attraction in USS
which is the 'MADAGASCAR' area. I know i keep repeating the word 'i
don't get the chance' or 'i missed out' or 'i don't get to see' and hell
yes, i'm so mad the fact that i don't get to do and finish the whole
tour in USS. by the time i get here, the rain was so heavy, i even
shop for USS plastic ponchos twice which cause me $4 SG dollar. that
was so ridiculous and i can't walk comfortably doing my USS touring.
at the end of the day it's the weather, the mood, the people that's
with me, and a very limited time given to explore this incredible place
hinder all the satisfaction i can get. it wasn't enough for me at all.
and if i get the chance to come and visit this place again, i would
surely get into every rides, play as many games as i want and watch
as many show as i desire, if i could... well of course, there will be
next time for this, i promise. in a mean time, the next vacation
won't come around any soon since i have to give up my social life
and focus on my study. But having all the experience traveling and
to see the side of other people's country is incredible. I want to do
it again and again if i can. worth the money, time and the effort.
